SEPTIC SYSTEM/PUMPING INSPECTION REMINDER
The Dickinson Township staff will forward reminders in March and then again in September to residents requiring septic pumping. To avoid a rush on the contractors in the area, the community is reminded of the requirement for every owner of an individual sewage system to have septage or other solids removed from the treatment tank at least once every three years. Proof of pumping and/or inspection shall be provided by the owner of the individual system within 30 days of the date of service to the Township. For more information, forms, and a list of septic haulers, please see the Sewage Enforcement section of the website.
CD copies of the Comprehensive Plan are available at the Township building.
