GENERAL QUESTIONS

How do I dispose of unused medications and drugs?

The Mt. Holly Springs Police Department has a drug collection box in their lobby at 200 Harman Street in Mt. Holly Springs, which is open Monday through Friday from 8:00am until 4:30pm. This is a free and anonymous service. You can drop any pills, medications, vitamins, tubes, ointments or illegal drugs without fear of recourse. Hypodermic needles are not yet being accepted. Since the program launched in 2014, over 200 pounds of prescription drugs and medications have been collected.

❄️ Winter Storm Safety Notice ❄️

A winter storm is expected to impact the area this weekend, and Dickinson Township’s Public Works Department will be actively working to treat and clear Township roads. Crews will continue operations as conditions allow to keep roadways as safe and passable as possible.

Residents are asked to please:
• Avoid unnecessary travel during the storm
• Use caution if travel is necessary
• Give plow trucks plenty of space to do their work
• Be patient, as road conditions may change quickly and our crews are working hard to keep the roads open

Your cooperation will help keep our crew and fellow residents safe. Thank you to our Public Works team for their dedication and to the community for your understanding.
Please stay safe and warm. ☃️
