In August of 2024, Dickinson Township secured a new contract with Apple Valley Waste (Parks) to be the single trash hauler for Dickinson Township. The new contract begins on April 1, 2025 and is a 3 year contract with two additional optional years. As the new contract date gets closer, you will be receiving additional information on the specifics.

A winter storm is expected to impact the area this weekend, and Dickinson Township’s Public Works Department will be actively working to treat and clear Township roads. Crews will continue operations as conditions allow to keep roadways as safe and passable as possible.
Residents are asked to please:
• Avoid unnecessary travel during the storm
• Use caution if travel is necessary
• Give plow trucks plenty of space to do their work
• Be patient, as road conditions may change quickly and our crews are working hard to keep the roads open
