DRUG COLLECTION BOX
Springs has a drug collection box that accepts any type of drugs that someone
may want to turn in. This service is a no question ask collection box that is
located inside Mt. Holly Borough Office. Dickinson Township residents may
continue to use this service. It has been proven that most kids start
using prescription drugs found in their parents home. It will also
decrease the amount of prescription drugs being flushed into the septic system.
SEPTIC SYSTEM/PUMPING INSPECTION REMINDER
The Dickinson Township staff will forward reminders at the end of September to residents requiring septic pumping. To avoid a rush on the contractors in the area, the community is reminded of the requirement for every owner of an individual sewage system to have septage or other solids removed from the treatment tank at least once every three years. Proof of pumping and/or inspection shall be provided by the owner of the individual system within 30 days of the date of service to the Township. For more information, forms, and a list of septic haulers, please see the Sewage Enforcement section of the website.
